A New View is based on the concept that the lens through which we view our life can affect our thoughts, behaviors and feelings. Just as we are able to change the lens in a camera, we can also change the way we view our circumstances. Our depth of focus, the angle in which we see things and our perceptions all play a role in the images we create in our mind. These images (the thoughts we have) play a role in our feelings and our behaviors. It is my hope that in reading these postings, you will discover tidbits of information that offer a helpful angle when viewing life's circumstances. I welcome your comments, thoughts and memoirs. Thank you for stopping by.
Note re: "Comments" Initials/pseudonym vs. your name are preferred to protect your confidentiality. Although the comment section states "name required" this is a function of the website that does not allow me to change it.
Note to viewers: Much of the information in the postings come from a personal collection of thoughts, quotes, ideas, reflections, narratives, teachings and views that I jotted down in a notebook while earning my professional counseling degree. While the majority of the content is my own, some of the views and quotes are recognizably from others. References are included at the end of each blog.
